تاثیر مکمل‌دهی کوتاه مدت آب چغندر بر عملکرد شنای 100 متر و برخی متغیرهای فیزیولوژیکی طی فازهای مختلف چرخه قاعدگی

چکیده

مقدمه: پژوهش حاضر با هدف تعیین تاثیر مکمل‌دهی کوتاه مدت آب چغندر بر عملکرد شنای 100 متر و برخی متغیرهای فیزیولوژیکی طی فازهای مختلف چرخه قاعدگی انجام شد. روش‌شناسی: 10 زن شناگر حرفه‌ای جوان (49/2±3/21) به صورت داوطلبانه در یک طرح نیمه تجربی به شکل متقاطع دوسویه کور شرکت کردند. بعد از تعقیب و تعیین فاز های قاعدگی در نمونه‌ها، هر آزمودنی در روزهای 5-2 آغاز چرخه (فاز میس فولیکولار) و روزهای 21-17 چرخه (فاز لوتئال) با و بدون مصرف مکمل آب چغندر (50 گرم پودر چغندر بعد از وعده صبحانه و یک ساعت و نیم قبل از اجرای شنا)، شنای 100 متر را اجرا کرد. عملکرد ورزشی، میزان درک فشار، ضربان قلب، فشار خون سیستولی و pH ادراری پس از اجرای شنای 100متر مورد ارزیابی قرار گرفت. یافته ها: یافته‌ها نشان داد که تفاوت معنی داری بین فاز فولیکولی و لوتئالی چرخه قاعدگی در دو وضعیت مصرف دارونما یا مکمل آب چغندر در متغیرهای ارزیابی شده وجود ندارد. با این حال، میزان درک فشار در هر دو فاز فولیکولی و لوتئالی در دوره مصرف مکمل آب چغندر نسبت به دارونما به طور معنی‌داری کمتر بود. همچنین، ضربان قلب متعاقب شنای 100متر در گروه مکمل نسبت به دارونما تنها در فاز فولیکولی به طور معنی داری کمتر بود. نتیجه گیری: در کل به نظر می‌رسد مکمل‌دهی کوتاه مدت آب چغندر تاثیری بر عملکرد شنای 100 متر زنان طی فازهای مختلف چرخه قاعدگی ندارد اما کاهش میزان درک فشار و ضربان قلب متعاقب اجرای شنای 100متر دور از انتظار نیست.

چکیده [English]

Introduction: the present study was conducted with the aim of determining the effect of acute beetroot juice supplementation on 100m swimming performance and some physiological variables during different phases of the menstrual cycle. Method: 10 young professional female swimmers voluntarily participated in a semi-experimental, double-blind crossover design. After tracking and determining the menstrual phases in the samples, each subject on days 2-5 at the beginning of the cycle (follicular phase) and days 17-21 of the cycle (luteal phase) with and without consuming beetroot juice supplement (50 grams of beetroot powder after breakfast and an hour and half before swimming), he swam 100 meters. Sport performance, rating of perceived exertion, heart rate, systolic blood pressure and urinary pH were evaluated after swim. Results: The findings showed that there is no significant difference between the follicular and luteal phases of the menstrual cycle in the two situations of consuming placebo or beet juice supplement in the evaluated variables . Also, there is no significant difference between the consumption of placebo and beet juice supplement in both follicular and luteal phases regarding swimming time of 100 meters . Also, the heart rate after swimming 100 meters in the supplement group was significantly lower than the placebo only in the follicular phase .

Conclusion: In general, it seems that acute supplementation of beetroot juice has no effect on 100m swimming performance in female during different phases of the menstrual cycle,
